PRINCIPLE TEN Love has a beneficial effect on all life We live in a culture that has been very successful in creating the perception that we are above nature. The spiritual and emotional ties that demonstrate our part of - and connection to - nature are often marginalized. Successful long term restoration will not occur without people believing in the process and celebrating that role. Science in its effort to avoid personal bias from coloring research asks for detachment. Restoration uses science as one tool among many for the collection of data and monitoring strategies.
